<image:caption>Matched stereo pair of small diaphragm tube condenser microphones. Tube circuit utilize a 'cathode follower' design which allows the mic's output transformer to be installed in the power supply. That way, a much larger and more robust transformer can be used which allows for very high SPL handling capacity. These mics excel at close miking drums or as drum overheads. Stock cardioid capsules have a +6 dB presence peak at 6 kHz - a similar frequency response to a Shure SM57. We had Michael Joly of OktavaMod build custom cardioid capsules which exhibit a much flatter frequency response than the stock capsules. Both capsule sets have their uses and sound great!</image:caption>

This is a solid state amplifier body with modular capsules similar to the Neumann CMV “lollipop” capsule system. This is a very high quality mic/capsule combination with lots of detail and plenty of low end. Great on acoustic guitar and voice. Capsule is cardioid pattern.</image:caption>

Word soon spread and before long he was traveling to many cities in North America and Europe, many of them multiple times, playing miraculous tunes with such groups as Film School, Holly Golightly, Hot Fog, and Hammerdown Turpentine. Donny would go on to record professionally for more than 20 years—sometimes in America’s barns and mangers, sometimes in her plentiful studios. Donny was and continues to be a refuge for the Spirit, a man of indescribable peace, and the pinnacle of the Hierarchy of Perfected Souls in the Kingdom of the Shining Ones. Praise Him. <image:caption>These are combination fast peak limiters and RMS compressors in a single unit. Designed for use in radio broadcast as the last line of defense before the transmitter, these are excellent for squashing signals. The circuit is identical to the Urei BL40, which utilizes an LA3A optical circuit for the RMS compression and an 1176 FET circuit for the fast limiting. Best part is the controls are recessed for the real “set-it-and-forget-it” broadcast-style. Adjustments need to be made with a screwdriver. They even come equipped with a protective guard to prevent nosey engineers from tweaking with the settings. DON’T TOUCH!!!</image:caption>
